Australia’s first VA Agency created by Beauty Industry Leaders for Beauty Industry Leaders.

Behind the name

Kara Lehmann (The Beauty Boss VA’s founder) has been exactly where salon owners are. After 10 years running her 7-figure salon, she completely empathises with the pressures of business, motherhood and everything in between.

Thus, The Beauty Boss VA was born to help remove the overwhelm in busy hair and beauty businesses all around Australia so their owners can enjoy time doing more of the things they love.

What makes them different?

The Beauty Boss VA has walked in their client’s shoes – they know EXACTLY how darn stressful and upsetting it can be to put all of your blood sweat and tears into a business to end up feeling like you’re getting nowhere.

They understand what it’s like to go into business with the intention to gain more time, flexibility and freedom, and somehow end up with the opposite.

Helping hair and beauty business owners fall back in love with their business’ is the true essence of what fuels The Beauty Boss VA. 

Guided by the phrase, “We rise by lifting others”, they are changing the way the industry operates from the ground up for future generations to come.

  • Visual Rebrand: aka. Overhauled their logo and built out varieties into a full-blown suite, fonts, colours and imagery to reflect their growing vision 
  • Style guidelines and advice on how to carry out consistency to all platforms, aka. how to use their new visuals 
  • Suite of illustrations and graphic elements throughout
  • Social Media Canva Template suite 
  • Creative direction on how to style a variety of graphics across multiple platforms to reflect the vision and consistency of brand aesthetics

How it started

Kara started The Beauty Boss VA in 2019 with her sights set on helping hair and beauty businesses reach their goals. Helping them get closer to their dreams in taking away a lot of their pressure and overwhelm in the day to day operations. She is a firm believer in having someone who can assist her clients in areas that aren’t their passion or strength can make a world of difference to the business.

“There’s often those ‘I’ll get to that later’ tasks that we never seem to get to, because we either don’t know how or other things, just seem to take priority. But if we do have someone who can help and do the job well, our business can grow immensely.” ~ Kara

How it’s going

Since then, The Beauty Boss VA has helped over 130 women in the hair and beauty industry to outsource and take back control of the ‘to do’ lists in their businesses. AND is teaching others how to start and grow their own Virtual Assistant businesses across multiple industries.

Today…

Kara has expanded her vision and reached new heights with a personal brand, she’s now a mentor to other Virtual Assistants whilst running her team of dedicated VA’s to service the hair and beauty industries nationwide.
